The Saskatchewan Science Teachers Society Grant is an opportunity for any Saskatchewan educators who are a member of the SSTS (become a member here) to gain funding for science projects and initiatives that will increase scientific literacy in Saskatchewan students and tie to Saskatchewan curriculum through hands on or experiential STEM learning.
This grant can be used for classroom/lab equipment, guest speakers, or field trips as long as they have a science focus.
Grant money can be awarded in varying amounts from $100-$2000 offered once a year!
If you awarded a grant you will be asked for a budget, check in, all receipts of purchases and final summary of your activity including photos that can be posted on our website and in our local newsletter, the accelerator!
The application deadline is May 30th 2024. Grants will be adjudicated and successful applicants will be announced in June.
