The Saskatchewan Science Teachers’ Society (SSTS) is hosting a series of mini virtual professional development over the course of the 2021-2022 school year, with our first being on Tuesday December 7, 2021. The focus of our mini virtual professional developments will be focusing on the foundations of scientific literacy that are found in the front end of the Saskatchewan science curriculum documents. We hope that through this professional development, educators will walk away feeling more confident in developing scientifically literate Saskatchewan students and building those foundational skills within their teaching and assessment practices.
